Partitions

Partition framing in commercial applications will be of metal gauge typical spacing will be 16in on center. Partition framing between tenant spacing will be full height to the underside of building ceiling while partition framing within tenant spaces will be only to the underside of the acoustical ceiling. Gypsum board panels of 1/2in thickness are screwed to the metal framing with seams taped and finished for priming and painting. In some cases, sound insulation is added between the stud spacing to make a more noise reducing partition. Part of our service is to add door and passage openings in existing partitions to create better access to selected areas. We also offer half height partitions with different cap treatments where full height partitions are not desired.
